CPF National engages with national stakeholders involved in official languages and linguistic duality to create an environment supportive of French-second-language (FSL) education across Canada. CPF Branches and Offices work with provincial and territorial departments of education, school boards, and community stakeholders providing FSL resources to parents and educators and promoting French language learning and cultural activities for youth in their regions.
Canadian Parents for French is excited to announce the official course launch of “French Footprints: FSL in the Early Years” in partnership with Families Canada and 123 Petits Pas.
The CPF discussion paper, Official and Indigenous Languages Education in Canada, was written to provide background about these languages, including recent changes in government legislation and funding, along with a snapshot of current efforts to provide educational opportunities across Canada.
