We are pleased to advise the completion of CPF’s 2012-2013 Strategic Planning Committee Membership Review.

The SPC membership review was undertaken to ensure the ongoing health and sustainability of CPF’s membership model by reviewing best practices and understanding our own membership model. With that in mind, the report identifies several components to increase the effectiveness of our model and maximize the benefits for all. Some of the reports’ highlights are:

  • Building a stronger brand identity;
  • Extending and quantifying CPF’s national reach;
  • Developing a clearly-defined set of tangible and attractive benefits, relevant to its mandate and exclusive to CPF members.

The National Board accepted eight of the ten recommendations put forth. An overview of the Board’s decisions are below. Please note that the recommendations are presented in the order in which they are shown in the Nayar /SPC report, and not in order of priority.
