Videographer/Video Editor Needed for April 23 and June 5 & 6

CPF seeks a videographer to film two of our upcoming events. The first event is a Breakfast on the Hill event from 7am to 11:30 am on April 23, 2020.
The second event is our Concours d’art oratoire National Finals weekend. The videographer will follow our finalists as they tour Ottawa and compete in finals. This event will take place at the Sheraton downtown and select sites around central Ottawa.
Footage will need to be edited to 3-5 minute long segments. There is some compensation available for the position.

Canadian Parents for French seeks Video Production Intern or Volunteer for Summer 2019.
CPF National is looking for a summer volunteer to assist with video projects. Ideally, we are searching for someone who can commit two months this summer for a total of 40-50 volunteer hours. CPF National is in the process of creating short training videos. We are looking for a volunteer to edit the videos, consult on our series of short films and assist in all aspects of pre and post-production. Applicants must have training / experience on Premiere Pro and After Effects, iMovie and videohive.net. This opportunity requires prior film production and post production experience. Applicants should also possess the ability to work independently and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.
If you are interested in video production, photography and editing, and want to develop your skills, want to make a difference and get published, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. We offer meaningful and fulfilling experience for several interests and academic backgrounds.
This position works closely with the Volunteer Coordinator and requires weekly check-ins.
Location: Ottawa, ON*
Schedule: minimum of 8 hours per week
Job Type: Volunteer position or internship (some monetary compensation possible)

*This position can be done offsite but will require a few days in the office. Production programs and computer will be provided to the volunteer.

CPF’s 5th Annual Breakfast on the Hill: April 23, 2020
5 Volunteers Needed: Ottawa Central
We need 5 volunteers to help with our Breakfast on the Hill event. This event brings together leaders from the CPF Network and Members of Parliament to celebrate the state of FSL education across Canada. The event also provides the opportunity for CPF leaders to meet with their representatives to discuss what more support FSL education needs from government. Volunteers will be needed on April 22nd for training and event prep as well as for the event itself from 7am to 3pm. After the breakfast volunteers will escort our visitors to their individual visits on the hill. This opportunity does require a fair amount of walking.
