As a national association committed to bilingualism and bilingual education for Canadian youth, Canadian Parents for French shines! It provides parents, grandparents and interested others with authoritative information on French second language programs throughout our nation and involves young people in motivating activities such as its annual public speaking competition (Concours d'art oratoire). That's why I'm proud to be a CPF donor.

My family has contributed to CPF since the organization was founded in 1977. Supporting the work it does is our way to help build the Canada we want to be part of.

While my daughter Bonnie is an adult now, I am grateful for the chance that she was given to learn a second language during elementary school, junior high school, and high school through French immersion. Having a second language is so important. ... I wish everyone could have the chance to learn a second language. By being a monthly donor, I see myself passing good on to current and future generations. Maybe someday, a future descendant of mine will benefit; but regardless, doing what I can to help Canadian Parents for French help others helps me stand up for something I strongly believe in. .

These annual donations help us meet the needs of thousands of parents, students and educators raising awareness and the importance of FSL programming nationwide. Every contribution, big or small, helps us champion the opportunity to learn and use French for all who call Canada home.

Participation in our CPF Network annual fundraising campaigns such as Giving Tuesday or the monthly Donor Circle help us increase our impact in every community across Canada! CPF is a registered charitable organization (Charity Reg. No. – 118835131 RR0001). As an organization, we remain truly grateful to donors for their ongoing generosity. A tax receipt is issued for donations of $20 or more.
