Les Rencontres Professionelles is a live webinar series running from January to May 2024, that features professionals from around the globe sharing about their careers and home countries in French!
Featured presenters spanning from a wide variety of career paths will engage attendees by highlighting how French-English bilingualism has impacted their personal and professional lives, which will be followed by an interactive Q&A session. We invite all French classes (grade 7 to 12) to join and learn more about how bilingualism has opened pathways and benefitted the careers of our presenters!

Xavier Georges has devoted his career to the performing arts, with experience in Theatre, Television, Corporate Events, Music Videos, Commercials, Short and Feature length films. His work has been multidisciplinary, with ground experience from Technician all the way to Production Designer and Producer. Xavier is also the founder of the French Cultural Network of Newfoundland and Labrador and of Rafale FM the French Newfoundland radio station. In 2014, Xavier incorporated Sibelle Productions! The first French production company in the province.
Xavier Georges a consacré sa carrière aux arts de la scène, avec une expérience bâtie en théâtre, à la télévision, en événements corporatifs, en vidéos clips, en commerciaux et en court et long
métrage. Avec plus de 30 ans de métier, son travail a été pluridisciplinaire débutant sur le terrain comme technicien jusqu’à devenir concepteur et producteur. Xavier est le fondateur du réseau culturel français de Terre-Neuve et-Labrador et de “Rafale FM” la station de radio de Terre-Neuve en français. En 2014 il fonde Sibelle Productions! La première compagnie de production en français de la province.
