Les Rencontres Professionelles is a live webinar series running from January to May 2024, that features professionals from around the globe sharing about their careers and home countries in French!
Featured presenters spanning from a wide variety of career paths will engage attendees by highlighting how French-English bilingualism has impacted their personal and professional lives, which will be followed by an interactive Q&A session. We invite all French classes (grade 7 to 12) to join and learn more about how bilingualism has opened pathways and benefitted the careers of our presenters!

Louise Moyes (she/ her) is a Francophile from St. John’s who creates Docudances, bilingual one-woman and group shows based on interviews. Louise has studied, worked, and lived in French and English in both Montreal and St. John’s. She has worked in both official languages in film and television and with federal and provincial governments – and taught at schools throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
Louise Moyes (elle) est une francophile de St. John’s qui crée Docudances, des expositions individuelles et collectives bilingues basées sur des entrevues. Louise a étudié, travaillé et vécu en français et en anglais à Montréal et à St. John’s. Elle a travaillé dans les deux langues officielles au cinéma et à la télévision ainsi qu’avec les gouvernements fédéral et provincial – et a enseigné dans des écoles de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.
