Parent and Caregiver Workshop: Supporting French Spelling
Wednesday, March 20, 7-8pm EST

Join educator Nicole Balston for a parent/guardian workshop on spelling in French!

This workshop will focus on building a solid foundation for your child to spell in French.

First, we will cover the dos and don’ts of learning spelling so you know what to do and exactly where you should focus your time. After this, we will go through activities you can do at home to meaningfully support your child. We’ll cover activities you can do even if you don’t feel comfortable in French yourself!

Nicole is a reading specialist who teaches students (and parents!) the rules behind the French code so they can read confidently in French. She is passionate about giving parents concrete strategies to support French Immersion – even if they don’t know French themselves!

This webinar is free and open exclusively to Canadian Parents for French members. A Zoom link will be provided by email to all registered participants prior to the session.

Can’t join us live? The recording will be sent out to all registrants. Please contact dlabas@cpf.ca with any questions or concerns.
