What’s New for French in the Early Years: Information Session!

Join us for a half day of workshops centered on 4 new and exciting early childhood opportunities from leading French Second Language organizations. Our goal is to help support educators who have little background in French and want to increase the quality of the French offering they can provide to their learners and families.

Attendees will learn about the opportunities – many of which are available to learners free of charge –and how they can be seamlessly integrated into all early years programming.

WHEN: Thursday, April 4th, 2024, 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM EST

LOCATION: Regatta Room, The Westin Harbour Castle, 1 Harbour Square, Toronto, ON M5J 1A6

TARGET AUDIENCE: English speaking Early Childhood Educators/Practitioners, Day Care Providers, JK/SK Teachers and Teaching Assistants open to expanding their French Second Language learning offerings

French Footprints Parent Resource Hub – Free family support website resources, articles and podcasts

Puppets, Theatre and Games – Sociocultural enrichment for little ones!

Early Childhood Zone – Kindergarten teacher resources for early literacy and learning through play

MetaLingo – Free online French learning platform for littles ones, ages 2 and up!

Light refreshments will be served and a wrap-up reception will follow the workshops.

All attendees will receive a parting Swag Bag!
